Streams of Consciousness

The cave of the heart is the seat of the Divine,

where the All-pervading Omnipresent Self can be contacted,

in the very heart of the seeker.

Commune Commune Commune.
Tonight there will be no sound post.  I had a little jam session with my friend Jess tonight and both of us were so rusty I decided not to post our recording this time.  We sat out in the back of her place, in her yard, so chilly tonight but anytime I sit in a yard I completely forget that I am in New York.  It happens with such simplicity, to be transformed by nature.  We mused about creating a space in the neighborhood to build community.  Imagine a multi-faceted space that operates as a retail space - encasing my Asian wares, where you can buy a bowl of nutritious simple food- no one pays more than $5 for a meal, after retail hours and perhaps during, depending on space- a daily yoga class, meditation, a drumming class, maybe once per week a tea party or healing circle, live performances, a backyard with an herb garden- all herbs for sale, classes on making essential oils, shit I could go on and on.  Or just a place to flop onto a sheepskin rug if you don’t like your living room with a hot cup of tea. No laptops allowed, no cell phones, no bullshit, with a valuable “cool factor.”
